Bubbles Popped: none
(Reminder, these are not projections based on likely future results. They are a reflection of the limited results so far this season. At 1-1 with an RPI in the 70's and a close win over Navy, MSU would be out. However, I would bet my house they will be safely in the field come March, everything is very fluid right now, and really will be until about two weeks into conference play)

Four results worth mentioning:
Creighton 65, Oklahoma 63
The first half was ugly, as the Sooners looked like they were going to win by about 30. But something happened after a Bluejay took a beer over his head (seriously) just before half and The Big East came away with a win over a ranked Big XII squad.
Gonzaga 94, St. Joseph's 42
I don't buy Gonzaga as any sort of legitimate threat to win the National Title. I also never would have believed this St. Joe's team could look so terrible. I don't think Gonzaga is 52 points better than them. If they are, they'll go undefeated and win every game by double figures. It's more likely this score is just an early season aberration.
Missouri 78, Oral Roberts 64
The Tigers opened the season with a disappointing loss MZ-Kansas City, and ORU knocked off Tulsa in their opener. ORU really could have gained some early momentum with another big win, and sent Missouri into full on panic mode. Instead, the Tigers appear have righted the ship and ORU's slim at-large chances took a big blow.
Arkansas 83, Wake Forest 53
The SEC figures to be pretty weak again this year after UK and Florida, but should still safely expect to put 4-6 schools in the dance (deserved or not). A win over Wake Forest won't impress anyone, but the margin suggest Arkansas should be one of the better teams in the SEC, which is loaded with Wake Forest caliber squads.
