Baylor 69, South Carolina 65
I really don't know much about either of these teams, but an SEC road win is never a bad thing to put down on your non-conference resume. The SEC is looking like it could be pretty thin on potential at-large schools again this year.
Wichita State 71, Memphis 56
The Shockers are 2-0, with two nice wins (NMSU, @Mem). That's how you build a resume if you play in a conference like the MZV. Memphis on the other hand, isn't helping their perception by this showing as the encore to an exhibition loss to a D-II school.
San Diego State 53, Utah 49
In what alternate universe did Utah deserve to be ranked ahead of the Aztecs in any pre-season poll conducted outside of the Utah alumni association? Steve Fisher has SDSU rolling. Utah put together a nice record last season, but it was on the back of one of the worst non-con schedules in the country. Their obviously a program on the rise, but their not at an SDSU level yet.
Northeastern 76, Florida State 73
This is not a good look for FSU or the ACC. The ACC is loaded at the top, but the bottom is terrible. FSU figured to be in the middle, and the jury is still out on that portion of the league. A nice win for Northeastern, and will be interesting to see if they can build on it.
