Bubbles Popped: none

Four results worth mentioning

UL-Monroe 74, UAB 65
More often than not the Blazers finish above .500 and at least sniff the NCAA Tournament.  If that's the case again this year, this loss could really haunt them.  This win won't raise any eyebrows for ULM, but it certainly won't hurt either, especially if UAB turns in their typical above-average year.

Oral Roberts 77, Tulsa 68
ORU beat Tulsa in this battle of Oklahoma schools.  It's not the way Tulsa hoped to start their season, but this loss is far from shocking.  ORU is always solid, and looks to be again this season.

Colorado State 83, Montana 66
This is the type of win that the Rams, and Mt. West Conference as a whole need to load up on during the non-conference slate.  They offer the opportunity to build a solid RPI base, before they start beating up on each other in January.  Winning these games will be the difference between the MTW getting one or two schools in the tournament, or getting four or five.

Portland State 76, Southern Cal 68
These games are RPI killers, not just for the "power" school that loses them, but for the conference as a whole if too many stack up.  Early indications are that Washington State is going to lose enough for the Pac-12 on their own, they don't need USC dropping games like this at home.  Portland State is far from terrible, but this hurts USC more than it helps them.  If they start winning games, this one will be an after thought on Portland State's potential resume.
