Bubbles Popped: 1
Georgia Tech, ACC The Yellow Jackets suffered their 10th conference loss at the hands of V'Tech, assuring a losing conference mark for the Jackets. They have some decent wins, but far too many loses. Winning out, and a run to the ACC Championship game would certainly have GT back in the conversation, but at this point, I don't believe even that unlikely scenario would be enough. They're the first ACC School to be moved off the bubble.
Notes:
Both SFA and Sam Houston State won last night. The two are combined 20-1 in Southland Conference play. Their RPI's, for the moment, are both sub-100 keeping the slim chance of a Southland at-large berth alive for at least another day.
