Bubbles Popped: 5
Chattanooga (3-4), Southern
It's all over for the Moc's. Win the automatic bid or stay at home.
IUPUI (2-4), Summit
Nothing they do in the Summit will impress the committee.
Ill-Chigago (2-5), Horizon
Losing the opportunity to knock Butler off a couple of times hurts UIC and the rest of the Horizon.
Jacksonville (2-5), Atlantic Sun
A six loss Atlantic Sun team better have a nice collection of non-conference wins. Jacksonoville doesn't have any.
Nicholls State (0-4), Ohio Valley
They won't be a factor in the Ohio Valley.
Four results worth mentioning:
Virginia 45, Rutgers 26
Rutgers isn't going to win a lot of games in the Big Ten, but they also aren't going to be held to just 8 points in the second half very many times either. And impressive defensive showing by UVA.
TCU 61, Mississippi State 52
In a match-up of unbeaten teams, TCU moved to 7-0. The jury is still out on both of these teams, but TCU certainly looks a little less suspect after this one.
Ole Miss 66, Cincinnati 54
I have to believe there is still a good amount of bad blood in the gym when these two play, and if choosing sides, I like seeing Adam Kennedy get the win.
Harvard 75, Massachusetts 73
After opening the season with a loss to Holy Cross, Harvard needed this win. They're more than likely playing for seeding more so than a bid (though Yale has looked good), and wins like this will certainly help.
