Bubbles popped: 4
Central Arkansas (0-4), Southland
A game at the Pit against New Mexico is the only thing left on C.Arkansas' schedule that would provide the opportunity for anything resembling a "good win." Even if they win 28 of their next 29, they aren't getting an at-large.
Navy (0-4), Patriot League
There no potential quality non-league wins left on the Midshipman's schedule.
Morgan State (0-4), MEAC
Games still remain against Marquette, Virginia Tech, and St. Mary's, but even with a sweep of those, they won't carry the weight they would have in previous years.
MD-Eastern Shore (0-4), MEAC
MD-Eastern has no remaining opportunities for a "quality win."
Four results worth mentioning:
Wyoming 56, Colorado 33
Colorado went to Laramie sporting a 2-0 record that included a win over Auburn. They managed a meager 9 points in the second half in route to a 23 point loss. The Cowboys on the other hand look like a team to keep an eye on in the Mountain West.
Northwestern 68, Elon 67 OT
The Wildcats needed over-time to dispatch Elon. For a school that has never made the NCAA Tournament, they'll take it. Keep the dream alive.
Rhode Island 66, Nebraska 62 OT
The Rams countinued the Atlantic Ten's impressive early season showing with a win over a ranked Nebraska squad. Perhaps talk of a Big Ten Championship are little pre-mature for the Huskers.
Providence 80, Florida State 54
It's not shocking the Friars are 4-0, or that they beat the Seminoles. The margin of victory however, is a bit of a surprise. FSU is struggling.
