Games that matter tonight (1/24):
N.C. State 2 Virginia - The winner won't improve their standing much, but the loser can expect to take a significant step back. The Wolfpack, particularly, can't afford too many steps back given their proximity to the ledge.
Villanova @ St. John's - The loser will fall to about the cut-line, winner can breathe a little easier, at least until they play again.
Seton Hall @ Providence - The winner may not find themselves in tomorrow's projection, but the loser won't have to check in to know which side their on.
Maryland @ Iowa - This would be a huge win for a Maryland team in serious need of good wins. Iowa currently projects as one of the last four schools in and can't afford a loss.
Colorado State @ Nevada - Deserving or not, it's unlikely that the Mountain West gets five bids (or six in a field based on merit alone). Both of these schools are likely candidates to be school number five.
